Our program produces qualified hairdressers invested in the concept of hair artisans. The Basic Cosmetology course introduces and guides beginning students in the areas of modern haircutting, barbering, coloring, and hairdressing, as well as esthetics and manicuring. Our program teaches these techniques to help you meet the level of proficiency in cosmetology required by the state of Utah.

*Scholarships are available to eligible candidates. Please refer to the scholarship information page for eligibility requirements. Candidates must meet all regular admissions requirements and be scheduled to start training before applying for a scholarship. If a student changes their re-enter date, the scholarship award may be forfeited. Scholarships are non-transferable, and most cannot be combined with other Collectiv Academy – Utah scholarships. Typically, only one award will be granted per student. If a student qualifies for multiple scholarships, the most beneficial option will be awarded.

Scholarships will be distributed incrementally throughout the program. Continuous enrollment is required for scholarship eligibility. Failing to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress may lead to probation and possible loss of the scholarship. Additionally, termination from training could result in forfeiting the scholarship, potentially increasing your tuition obligation to Collectiv Academy – Utah. Tuition charges will align with the amount stated in your Enrollment Agreement.
