For the past 10 years, the Sandy campus of Collectiv Academy has been more than just a beauty school. It’s been a place where creativity is encouraged, confidence is built, and future beauty professionals begin shaping their careers. As we celebrate a decade in Sandy, Utah, we’re reflecting on the journey that brought us here, the incredible students and educators who made it possible, and the exciting future ahead.
From the very beginning, our goal has been simple: create an environment where students can feel inspired, supported, and prepared for the beauty industry. Ten years later, we’re proud to continue that mission while celebrating the community that helped us grow into what we are today.
A Decade of Beauty Education in Sandy
Opening our Sandy location 10 years ago was an exciting step for Collectiv Academy. We saw the opportunity to create a modern beauty education experience that focused not only on technical training, but also on individuality, artistry, and personal growth.
Over the years, our campus has welcomed aspiring cosmetologists, estheticians, and beauty professionals from all different backgrounds. Some students came to us immediately after high school. Others were searching for a career change or finally pursuing a passion they had always dreamed about. No matter where they started, each student became part of the Collectiv Academy story.
As the beauty industry evolved, so did we. Trends changed, techniques advanced, and social media transformed how beauty professionals connect with clients and build careers. Through it all, our Sandy campus remained committed to staying current, innovative, and focused on helping students prepare for real opportunities in the industry.
